This stunning 1962 50cc was brought to me in boxes by a client who
dismantled it a few years ago and stored it, waiting for right opportunity
to reassemble it. Unfortunately some of the parts went missing and most
components were rusting away. The frame and all the body parts were sent to
the Motorcycle Paint Clinic for sandblasting, panel beating and painting
whilst the engine was completely dismantled. All the alloy parts were
hydroblasted and the engine reassembled using some new parts including the
piston, clutch, bearings, seals and gear change cruciform. The electrical
wiring had to be modify to include a stop light and High/low bean globe to
conform with Australian specifications.
Here is the final result........
Please note that the engine cover door is missing and we are still waiting
for a new one from Italy A
beautiful 1964 50cc
